Our recent collaboration with Qatar National Bank (QNB) for their Ramadan campaign was an exciting challenge—one that showcased our ability to execute high-quality productions within a tight timeframe while maintaining the essence of the season.

Bringing the Concept to Life

The campaign aimed to highlight QNB’s exclusive discounts and offers available through the QNB Explorer App and the prestigious QNB First Card. The storyline followed a family enjoying Ramadan moments at key locations—dining in a restaurant, shopping in a retail store, and checking in at a luxurious hotel reception. In each setting, they seamlessly used their QNB card to avail themselves of special privileges, reinforcing the ease and benefits of banking with QNB.
Our role extended beyond filming; we worked closely with the client to refine the creative direction and enhance their initial storyboard. Our Creative Director and Director of Photography, Jaber Alazmeh, spearheaded the film treatment, ensuring that the visuals aligned with the client’s vision while adding our unique cinematic touch.

Pre-Production: Laying the Groundwork

As Ramadan fast approaches, meticulous planning was key. We provided a full suite of pre-production services, including:
  • Talent Scouting & Voiceover Talent Selection – Ensuring that the cast embodied the warmth and authenticity needed to convey the Ramadan spirit.
  • Location Scouting – Doha Oasis was selected as the primary filming location, offering a premium aesthetic that complemented the campaign’s theme.
  • Wardrobe & Props Curation – Every detail was carefully chosen to reflect Ramadan traditions while maintaining a modern, elegant look.
To ensure a smooth shoot, we conducted a previsualization (previs) session at the location. This involved a mock shoot with our internal team, allowing us to test camera angles, assess lighting conditions, and fine-tune the pacing of each scene. Back at our studio, we reviewed each frame, identifying areas for improvement before the official filming began.

Production: Efficiency & Excellence

Given the campaign’s significance, we ensured that each frame embodied the essence of Ramadan through careful composition, set design, and emotional storytelling. The use of warm lighting, culturally relevant props, and a heartfelt musical score played a crucial role in creating a sense of togetherness and celebration.
Despite the time constraints, we successfully wrapped up filming and post-production within two days—a testament to our streamlined workflow and expert coordination. The final video seamlessly blended stunning visuals with a heartfelt narrative, delivering an impactful Ramadan message from QNB.
