Over the years, Dow Studios has built a rich history of covering world-class sporting events. From serving as photographers at the FIFA Club World Cup 2019 in Qatar, to documenting the 2022 World Cup of Archery in Munich, capturing the elegance of the Al Shaqab equestrian competitions, and being on the ground for the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar, working with multiple brands and activations, we’ve consistently delivered exceptional sports photography. Our work at the ATP ExxonMobil Open and our involvement with the TriClub Doha have further solidified our role.
Now, building on this legacy and driven by our passion, we are embarking on an exciting new sponsorship with the Syrian Davis Cup team. By providing dedicated photography and coverage, we aim to support their journey and achievements. This new chapter is a natural extension of our commitment to capturing the spirit of sports at every level.
Built on a Legacy of Sports Storytelling
Over the years, we’ve worked with local and international athletes, sports organizations, and major campaigns to frame performance with intention and elevate stories that often live behind the scenes.
During the FIFA World Cup 2022, we were proud to contribute through helping brands, venues, and institutions tell their stories in the context of one of the world’s biggest sporting events.
Why the Syrian Davis Cup Team
When the opportunity came to support the Syrian Davis Cup Team, it wasn’t a question of strategy, it was a creative alignment.
Here was a group of young athletes preparing for one of the most defining moments of their careers: qualifying for the Davis Cup World Group II Playoffs. Their journey wasn’t paved with ease, but their discipline was unmistakable. What stood out and what we deeply recognized was their approach: Train. Focus. Deliver. Repeat.
It’s the same cycle that drives great athletes and great creative teams alike. And it’s what made this partnership feel like a natural extension of our work.
About the Davis Cup
Often referred to as the World Cup of Tennis, the Davis Cup is the largest international team competition in the sport.
For Syria, reaching the World Group II Playoffs represents a significant milestone — one that deserves to be documented with the same level of craft and care as the athletes bring to the court.
A Creative Sponsorship Rooted in Purpose
As Media Sponsor, our role is to shape the team’s visual identity and bring their journey to life through content that reflects their energy, resilience, and role as ambassadors on the world stage.
We’ve always believed in investing in talent even before the world fully sees it. To support young, emerging talent and give them the kind of visual presence that can help open doors, shift perception, and build pride.
So we stepped in, not just as fans, but as storytellers.
This isn’t new for us. In 2015, Dow sponsored the Doha Tri Club, providing media coverage that elevated their presence and documented their athletes’ participation in triathlon events. We captured the preparation, the grit, and the community.
From a triathlon club to a national tennis team, our commitment remains the same:
Support people with potential. Use our craft to help shape how that potential is seen. That’s where we know our work can make a real difference.
Follow the journey as we bring this story to life — frame by frame.
